【Toreiyu Tsubasa】Concept Room

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Yamagata Shinkansen, we have made the E3 Series "Toreiyu Tsubasa" room, which was offered for one year only since October last year, permanently due to its popularity! From October 2023, we will be selling it at a 1,000 yen discount to thank everyone for their patronage! In April 2019, the onboard facilities and services were partially renewed, and many people have boarded the train, but it has ceased operation in March 2022. The nickname "Toreiyu" is a combination of "train" and "soleil," which means sun in French. In addition, the Shinkansen cars have been modified based on the design concept of allowing passengers to enjoy the train journey while strolling around a hot spring town, taking in the sights of "food (a variety of ingredients blessed by the sun)," "hot springs," "history and culture," and "nature."The train was created as a train where the ride itself is an objective (a fun train to ride).
